Frederick Police Arrest Two Virginia Men In Shooting Monday Night

Authorities say the victim is in critical condition.

Frederick, Md (KM) Two Virginia men are charged with a shooting Monday night in Frederick which left one man injured. . Shane Lee Williams, 21, of Painter, is charged with possession of a handgun, reckless endangerment and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Richard Bowdoin Arvidson, 20, of Bell Haven,  is charged with possession of an assault weapon and possession of a loaded handgun in a vehicle.

Frederick Police say at around 8:48 PM, officers and detectives were sent to the 2100 block of Old Farm Drive to investigate reports of gunshots. While speaking with witnesses, authorities learned of a man at the hospital with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local trauma center where his condition is critical.

Williams and Arvidson were taken into custody. Police say this was an incident between known associates.
