It’s to accommodate the Mountain Bike Championships.
Frederick, Md (KM) Gambrill Park Road between Coxey Brown and Shookstown Roads will be closed on Saturday, October 23rd beginning at 7:00 AM. . The Frederick County Division of Public Works’ Traffic and Permit Section says this will allow for the USA Cycling Marathon Mountain Bike Championships to take place.
Motorists will be detoured to Coxey Brown Road, Harmony Road and Baltimore National Pike (US 40). Residents can use this detour route to get to their properties during the closure..
The road will reopen to traffic at 7:00 PM.
