Drugs And Cash Found During Traffic Stop In Jefferson County, WV

The driver and passenger were arrested in Halltown.

Halltown, Wv. (NS) – Drugs and cash were found during a traffic stop in Halltown, West Virginia.

On March 2nd at around 11p.m., Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a black Acura on Route 340 at Route 230.

The driver, Wesley Carter, and the passenger, George Pretlow, were interviewed by police and information learned led to a search of the vehicle where police found suspected Fentanyl, Heroin, Crack Cocaine, and $480 in cash.

Carter was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substances, Transporting a Controlled Substance into West Virginia, and Conspiracy.

Pretlow was also charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substances, Transporting a Controlled Substance into West Virginia, and Conspiracy.

Both are being held at the Eastern Regional Jail.
