Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
Frederick, Md. (KM) – Frederick Police say there will be some street closures on Tuesday morning to accommodate the funeral of Dfc Kenny Olander. He died last week following an illness. Dfc Olander, 61, was a 32-year veteran with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.
The service will begin at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Regional Catholic Church with internment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Prior to the services and during internment, East Street will be closed to all traffic at North East Street to Maxwell Alley. Also, Chapel Alley will be closed at Church Street to East 3rd Street, and Austin Alley will close from North East Street to Chapel Alley. East Church Street will be closed at Maxwell Alley to North East Street.
Motorists are urged to avoid these areas, and expect delays where traffic is being diverted.
There will also be no parking from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM in the 200 block of East 3rd Street, and the 200 block of East 4th Street.
