Hagerstown, Md. (KM) – Hagerstown Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting last week. An arrest warrant has been issued for Ashley Dawn Taylor, 36 of Hagerstown, who is charged with attempted 1st and 2nd-degree murder, 1st and 2nd-degree assault and numerous handgun offenses.
Last Thursday afternoon, officers responded to the 600 block of Oak Street for a shooting. They found a 43-year-old woman with gunshot wound to the abdomen The victim was taken to Meritus Medical Center. The suspect fled the area.
Investigators say Taylor and the victim were acquaintances. They got into a fight in a common area of an apartment building prior to the shooting..
