Three Indictments Returned Friday By Frederick County Grand Jury

These cases will be scheduled for trials.

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury returned three indictments on Friday..

The first one is against Charles Darnel Emanuel, 40, of New York who is charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine,, and possession of ten grams or more of marijuana. These charges stem from an incident which occurred on September 13th of this year.

The panel also charged Shaquan Kasha Lipscomb, 26, of Frederick with possession with intent to distribute Phencyclidine, and being a pedestrian on a roadway when a sidewalk was nearby. This was for an incident which occurred  on July 20tth, 2022.

And the third indictment was against Jairo Javier Espinoza-Romnild, 38, of Frederick who is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, reckless endangerment and intoxicated endangerment for an incident which occurred on October 26th of this year.

These cases now move to Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.

The State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are charging documents and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
