Frederick, Md (KM) It probably doesn’t happen very often among law enforcement officers, but some Frederick Police Officers on the overnight shift provided assistance to an injured owl.

On Thursday night, officers noticed the injured bird on the city’s east side. They successfully gathered the owl, and arranged for it to be transferred to the Owl Moon Raptor Center in Boyds where it was treated for its injuries.
