Frederick, Md (KM) Several road closures along Bethel Road are scheduled from June 26th through August 11th.
The Frederick County Division of Public Works says crews will replace stormwater pipe and headwall. .
The project will take place in four phases, and is expected to involve the replacement of 22 storm culverts.
Phase One will occur from June 26th through July 7th, with the intersection at Fish Hatchery Road to the Intersection of Mountaindale Road closed at Site one at Fish Hatchery Road; Site two at 10808 Bethel Road; Site three at 10724 Bethel Road; Site four at 10722 at Bethel Road; Site five at 10604 Bethel Road; and Site six tat 10522 Bethel Road.
Phase Two will be from approximately July 10th through July 21st, and involve the closure of the intersection at Yellow Springs Road to the intersection of Ford Road .
Phase Three will take place from approximately July 24th through August second and involve closing the intersection of Mountanidale Road to the intersection of Willis Lane.
Phase Four will be from approximately August 2nd through August 11th and involve closing the intersection of Opposumtown Pike/Putman Road to the intersection of Ford Road.
DPW says these closures will be for a specific locations. The dates for the phases of this project may change due to weather conditions.
Motorists traveling through that area will be detoured, says DPW.
