Police say it was a false alarm.
Frederick, Md (KM) The situation in the 1300 David Lane In Frederick Tuesday morning was resolved without incident.
Frederick Police say they received a call at around 8:45 AM about a man with a firearm holding his family hostage. The Special Response Team was called to the scene. Officers began establishing contact with the residents.
After conducting a “thorough investigation,” police say the initial call was false, and it was not a hostage situation. All individuals are safe.
Authorities thank citizens for their patience and cooperation.
