Frederick, Md. (BW)- Applications are open for the inaugural year of the Frederick County Youth Council.
The council, consisting of County residents between the ages of 12 and 24, will address community problems, discuss youth-oriented programming, advocate for important issues and influence county-wide legislation.
To be a part of the council, members must commit to a one-year term beginning in January of 2024. They must also be able to participate in at least one monthly meeting.
The Frederick County Youth Council is organized by the 12-to-24 Collaborative.
Applications are open until January 2, 2024.
