Nothing was found at Brunswick or Middletown High Schools.
FREDERICK, MD. (LG) The Frederick Police Department’s K-9 unit assisted deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Wednesday, in an un-announced sweep at Brunswick and Middletown High schools. Police said as a result nothing was found at either school.
During the operation both schools were placed into a “hold” status where students and staff have to remain in their rooms or in other areas until the “all clear” is announced.
Specially trained K-9 teams are used to detect substances and/or other items that are not permitted on school property.
