The victim suffered three stab wounds.

Hagerstown, Md (KM) Hagerstown Police arrested a man on Saturday evening for a stabbing. Kevin Leonard Quander, 40, of Hagerstown is charged with attempted 1st- and 2nd-degree murder, 1st- and 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment. He’s currently being held without bond.
At around 6:45 PM, officers responded to the 100 block of West Franklin Street for a stabbing. An officer in the area of North Prospect and Church Streets saw a man chasing another man. The suspect held a knife and he was making a slashing motion at the victim’s neck. After the officer got out of his car, he told the suspect to drop the knife, but the suspect refused, and said police would have to kill him. . The man ran away along the 100 block of North Jonthan Street.
Officers used a taser to on the suspect, He continued to struggle, but police say they were able to get him into custody.
Authorities say the victim had three stab wounds to the upper back and neck area. He was taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
